What is Natural Rubber(NR)?

Natural rubber (NR) is a versatile and elastic material derived from the latex sap of certain plants, primarily the rubber tree (Hevea brasiliensis). It has been used for centuries due to its unique combination of properties, including high elasticity, resilience, and excellent tear and abrasion resistance. Natural rubber is widely used in various industries for its numerous applications. Natural rubber is used in a wide range of products and applications, including tires, footwear, conveyor belts, seals, gaskets, medical gloves, and various industrial and consumer goods.
