Types

Polyurethane bushings are commonly selected for applications where conventional elastomers wear out too quickly or rigid plastics cannot provide enough impact absorption. We produce PU bushings in designs such as high-load sleeves, flanged bushings, shock-absorbing mounts, and metal-bonded assemblies, each optimized for specific requirements including wear resistance, load support, and repeated impact resistance.

Hardness

PU offers one of the broadest hardness ranges among elastomeric materials, allowing us to produce bushings from flexible grades for vibration absorption to harder grades for high-load support and wear resistance. For demanding designs, we can also develop multi-hardness structures that combine softer zones for damping with firmer sections for structural support.

Performance

The right PU formulation depends on how the bushing works in your equipment. For components exposed to constant friction, we increase abrasion resistance to reduce wear and extend service intervals. For heavy-load applications, we adjust the material structure to improve tear strength and resistance to deformation. Where repeated compression or impact is involved, we balance resilience and compression set to help the bushing recover its original shape after cycling.
