Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMW) is an advanced thermoplastic material known for its exceptional strength, abrasion resistance, and self-lubricating properties. UHMW belongs to the polyethylene family of polymers and is characterized by its extremely high molecular weight, which imparts unique mechanical and chemical attributes. It is produced through the polymerization of ethylene monomers with controlled processes to achieve the desired molecular weight.
